Private Track Event - Buttonwillow Raceway 4/16/18

Here are the videos that I thought were pretty good.

This one is Config #13. Very similar to #1 with the exception of T11 leading onto the esses. The video is showing the constant raidus sweeper option (config #13), while we will be doing the Star Mazda turn (config #1):

I think both videos are very useful in learning what it's like being on track at different experience levels.

I can't even count how many times I've watched that second video trying to learn the layout. Too bad they don't have it on Assetto Corsa :lol:

I can't wait to get out there and finally drive on Buttonwillow. Once again, thanks for setting this up T! Hopefully we can make it a yearly thing.

If you guys make this an annual thing, I'm so in. I live in SoCal (about 2 hours drive to Buttonwillow), and 1) missed the posting before it filled up, and 2) sort of wanted to get Track Attack done and behind me before going out on a track "on my own" and not knowing left from right.

Maybe ask ZL1 folks to setup a front tow hook install station? If the track allows it and they are up for doing something like that.

From what I've heard it doesn't take long if you know what you are doing and have the right tools. People could sign up ahead of time.

I can bring my "special Hockey Stick tool"! ;)

Man, that would be awesome. The install isn’t hard, but it still takes about 2 hours. No way to get it done without you missing a portion of the track day. Drive them up to Sacramento and let’s get it handled
