Awesome build. Congrats! Absolutely love it.
I didn't notice a CF Driveshaft in the list, maybe I glossed over, but did you also add that in as well? I did notice the MGW shifter! :sunglasses:
I’ve noticed mine get very high in-town driving. I do hit a lot of street lights though, and sit idling. It’ll easily climb north of 120F/130F with 95F ambient temps. Prior to reading this thread I thought there may have been a leak.
For those who have tried taping the box, do you see a drop...
Yeah I think these are my favorite ones. Ugh. I have avalanche grey (non-R) 2017 and have been eyeballing sig wheels for over a year now.
That said, I think the wife would kill me if I were to drop near $4k on wheels right now.
If you guys make this an annual thing, I'm so in. I live in SoCal (about 2 hours drive to Buttonwillow), and 1) missed the posting before it filled up, and 2) sort of wanted to get Track Attack done and behind me before going out on a track "on my own" and not knowing left from right.
I wish...
Installed Steeda jacking rails. Surprised the supplied hardware bolts were so short when compared to the same factory bolts (like half the depth). Torqued down to 45lb-ft, because I believe that's right.
I'm considering a tune. Been poking around online. Wanted to add that yeah, the E85 + Lund tune is putting out close to 500 whp, according to youtube:

What the hell is a Pin Stripe anyway, and VIN etching? HUH?
I'd tell them to go UNDER MSRP, given that they screwed up a perfectly good GT350 from the factory by doing "VIN etching" and "Pin Striping" on it. Don't touch my damn car, get your grubby fingers off it
I went to AutoSkinz in Valencia CA and got a quote around $4500ish (might have been a few hundred less, IIRC) that included:
- Some initial paint correction (I didn't ask for more questions)
- Full CQuartz, including rims
- Suntek PPF on the full front (I forget if that included roof)
- Full...
You and I are close in mileage, I'm at about 725. I'll post here and we can compare notes. That said I don't really have a baseline from when I picked it up.
Damn those are some nice wheels. I'm absolutely going to be hitting you up in the future. I'm on a bone-stock GT350 and I'd prefer something that does show off the brakes a bit more (even though my calipers are black), while dropping some weight. Not quite ready to pull the trigger, as I bet...
Wow. Just wow.
Up until this point I haven't felt the desire to swap out wheels, but you've done a phenomenal job with that look. I may just have to go hunting and buying now, damn that's a nice setup!
This is exactly what I'm considering doing, but debating how useful having the CQuartz ceramic is on top of the suntek. Does it still make sense? I suppose in terms of keeping the vehicle clean (read: easier to clean), then it might. Just not sure what this is like in practice/experience.
Thanks so much everyone, going to look for a wheel repair shop... time to make some searches and calls =).
Glad to know I'm not the only one who has done this :(. Sounds like this is easy to fix though! Thanks everyone
I wasn't racing the car or doing stupid stuff. The parking garage simply has a kiosk that's miles away from the window, this meant I had to get close. Unfortunately, I got too close, and the front driverside rim scraped against the concrete curb. :( And only at 500 miles too :doh...
So, not having taken my GT350 to the track yet, is it even possible to bed them in without driving reckless? I suppose if I try at night, with no traffic around here...
I'd be interested if it weren't on FB. (no FB account, and sort of don't want to do it)
Just out of curiosity, I take it no one wants to create something like a google site for the group?
