Thank you to the folks at Ford Performance for the invite. Was on the fence whether a GT350 was worth the extra $$$ over the GT. Made a believer out of me for sure. That car is INSANE. The only downside are the SoCal dealers - even Galpin Ford on their 2017 allocations are not selling ANY at MSRP. But Jim Owens and I had a good chat about that and the bottom line is to be patient which is not a problem for me. Never been an "early adopter."

I agree. The real drivers sure put me to shame. I just completed the 2 day Track attack in Utah before going to this. The driver I had at Buttonwillow went quite a bit faster. I didn't think that was possible. Your red calipers look really neat in person. Sorry I didn't get a chance to talk to you but I now have a face put together with a screen name.
No problem brother. The day went so quick after we all got split up. I'm sure j will come across you again at the track attack or some other event

Today was the funnest time I've had in a long time. Driving the hell out of that DIB GT350R was an orgasmic experience. The Ford performance instructor that took me for a hot lap in it was one hell of a driver. This was a great program put on by Ford and i encourage all to attend. I lust for an R even more now.

What's even cooler is the group after the morning was all made up of competitive car owners. So people who bought ferraris, Porsche, Nissan GT-R, Z28, Viper, etc.. Ford brings them out to drive the GT350 as well to let them experience the car, bolster its reputation, and probably make believers out of them. Good Marketing by Ford
Gotta ask... how did you get into the R? I was told when I first arrived in my GT350 I would get into the R as well, but it didn't happen. I did get front row parking though. ;)

I would have loved to see the impressions those "others" had on the GT350!!

I would love to hear details of that conversation!!! I didn't have the guts to approach him even though I already have a GT350. I think I was just in ahhh of everything and everyone who was there.

Nothing really. I just asked and they put me in the first one.
