Nope I don’t hear it. It’s very erratic (typewriter tick). Urs sounds more constant. Almost like a lifter

Ok. Well whatever or whoever calls it, that one was piston slap. That was the original engine. The second one is in the beginning stages already and I’ll bet my ridiculous paycheck that it’s the same. Eh. It’s the story of my life it seems. Lol

That's an average of only getting 1,860 miles per quart of oil. Some guys here with GT350s report not using nearly that much oil, but others do have what I'd consider abnormal oil use.
Have you heard anything on GT’s eating?

Some 2018+ with the piston slap have reported excessive oil consumption - those cars also had metal in the oil and in the oil filter.

But for the Gen2 (2015-2017) I haven't heard much about excessive oil use in the Coyote (GT). Might be one or two rare cases, but that's true for everything.

I track the oil level on my 2015 a lot and keep records. My GT uses a quart about every 5000 miles (with Motorcraft 5W-20 semi-synthetic blend), which I'd say is pretty normal for the Coyote. I just changed oil to a 5W-30 full synthetic with low Noack, so it will be interesting to see if that affects oil consumption or not.

I’ve been thinking about doing the same. But I’ll still have to wait to get my car back

I've put 2.5 quarts in mine in 3900 miles! It has both the 'Tick' and a very noticeable 2k rattle, so much so you can hear it over the radio going down the road (4th gear 45mph). It's going to Ford this Friday so we'll see...

Was that 2.5 qts lost in the cars first 3900 miles and it's original oil?
