I had that knock on my PP2 and I wasn't concerned with it. It behaved exactly as Ford described it. TSBs for the tick, the knock... let's see if Ford finally ends up saying something about the 2k RPM rattle.

That's exactly what I did after seriously considering getting a 2018 GT350 as a replacement car instead of getting the refund from Ford. 3200 miles in and it has been nothing but good times so far.
