Those door handle pockets are very useful in general, not just as phone holders.

Wife uses that when she's in the car. Be careful, a big phone will tip out. Happened twice to her.
Yeah, my 10XS Max has to sit tall side up and it goes in about halfway. It looks like you might be able to bounce it out on a really hard door slam but I’ve never had it happen. Most other phones will fit in sideways no problem.

Actually, this works great with a silicon phone case. Get a cheap one, cut about a third of it and paste to one side of the cup insert. Phone slides in and out with ease. Never falls out.

I like that idea. But I have 2 problems with it. First, she uses a phone case already so I'd have to find one big enough to fit her current case. And, second, she wouldn't use it anyway...

Not for everyone. I dislike phone cases, fattens the phone. This works for me and maybe others who dislike phones cases.

I purchased the Superone Mag Safe car mount in December and I love it. If you don’t currently have a mag safe style phone case I highly recommend getting one because once you have a matching car mount, attaching and detaching your phone is so much easier and faster, you just press or pull your phone against or away from the mag safe holder.

Also, this particular phone mount is the only device I could find that fits the narrow stereo trim area of the S550. And it doesn’t block the air vent, screen or stereo dial.

Search Superone mag safe car mount on eBay. I bought mine on Amazon but it looks like they’re out of stock.

I have a ProClip on the upper dash trim/air vent bezel, and this in the coin tray area...
