keltymd got any pics in your car? From their page it definitely looks like a good location, but still sticks out (especially the texture difference).

I really want to go with one of those Magic Mounts but also don't want to stick their ugly magnet on the leather skin I have on my Pixel.

I also use a Magic mount. Once you go to a magnetic mount you wont ever look back.

You stick the magnet to the phone and then put the case on top of it. It won't ruin your case.

It can work, but doesn't hold it anywhere near as well that way.

Kinda hard to stick the magnet to the phone and put a case on top when what I have on my phone is a leather "skin" aka something else that is already stuck on the phone. This is what I have and I don't want to ruin the feel by having a magnet stuck on it.

Best thing about the Scosche is you can put whatever device you happen to need on it with the addition of an extra magnetic backing. I've had my Scosche on board since day one and it's still holding strong.

I figured I would revive this thread as I combined the proclip bracket with a Scoche swivel magnet to make a perfect position phone holder for the Mustang without making anything permanent to the trim.
Maybe this will help some of you in selecting the best option for your Mustang as there is not a lot of options due to the space in it.

Proclip cost $27 shipped with current 10% off code via their website
https://www.proclipusa.com/vehicle/dashboard-mounts/9990-ford-mustang/2015
Scosche magnet $11
https://www.amazon.com/MAGDMB-Magic...222&s=gateway&sprefix=Scosche+,aps,208&sr=8-4

Loctite power grab glue to keep the scosche sticking before the sticky surface breaks down(cheaper at Home Depot).

I also ordered these from amazon so my passenger has a place to put their phone and not clutter up my dash area. It fits iPhone plus and regular just fine for what it’s worth.
Fit is perfect. There are cheaper ones that I looked at but this brand seems to be priced right and very good quality for what it is.
For $15 you can’t beat these Mustang door storage handle pockets.

This one, here. I love it. Very thin plate goes on your phone, and it holds it very strong, and gives you a clean shot to the 12v for charging below.

I have that brand in my Cadillac SRX. It attaches into the CD slot and the location is great. Thing is, even with a strong magnet and even with the cushy ride of a Cadillac, the phone still slides around from time to time and I find myself adjusting it way too often.

That’s not a bad option either.
