Looking for ideas to keep my phone either vent or hard-mounted, preferable wireless charging, going to use AA Wireless to do the Bluetooth wired connection for android Auto

Any ideas or suggestions welcome.

I was looking at the pro clip but with the performance pack gauges it doesnt seem like it would fit without covering something up.

it works great, I shove the clip all the way to the right so I can still see the instruments.
What I do NOT like at all about te pro-clip is the severely limited ball articulation. I bought it for the express purpose of using it as a track-day video/lap camera. I have a couple more of them and will look at taking my mill to them and see if I can improve matters.

What a completely missed opportunity, IMO.

Does it move enough in the far right position so you can at least see the phone completely while driving?

it doesn't rock left/right very much either - guessing 30 deg? It really is only designed for mounting right off the driver's main sightlines, nee instrument cover. On a non-PP car moving it all the way left would put it between the first 2 air-vents which is not too bad.

They should have made an A-piller mount and at least 45deg of motion.

Good to knows thank you! I might try a windshield mounted one for just daily driving

FWIW, since I don't have the center guages, here's my set up. Proclip mount with a generic ball mount and an iOtie Qi charger. It's got about an inch more it could go to the right. If you don't mind covering the right hand vent I think you'll still see the guages.

I am not convinced it will not obscure gauges, similar mount or rip off here showing gauges
slide it all the way right. It'll cover like 1/4" of the gauge and bezel but you can see the needle and markings just fine from the driver's seat. I guess I need to go take a pic. But anyway why does it matter? I never look over there when I'm driving except as an occassional glance.

I seriously dislike cup holder mounts. Just a big waste to me.
I got one of those and didn't care for it. It's so low and close you can't look at it anyway since it takes your eyes WAY off the road and for a protracted amount of time. I only need to see the phone to screen calls but Sync (even 100/300A) do that just fine on the 4" screen so even that is unnecessary.

Fair enough and on a stick shift it'll probably get in the way.

Anyone make an A pillar holder?
