Since they've moved the A-pillars back a tad I was wondering if the engine's have been moved further back as well, improving the balance.

Anyone know if that's the case?

considering they were only able to shorten the car by .2 inches and the trinity motor still fits, im going to say its in basically the same place. There isn't a whole lot of exta room to begin with in the engine compartment on the current mustang. But that is just my guess.

I would love it if they were able to move the engine back a bit.

I have not seen if the front subframe change involves a new pan and or k-member to lower the engine.
I have not seen if the firewall/bulkhead changes to move the motor back.

How much were the a-pillars moved? Was this from an actual measurement or are people guessing by looking at the photos?

"Over an inch" is what Ford says.

Car is a tad shorter but wheelbase is same. Moving the firewall back, relative to front axles, could mean there's room to move engine back?
