Yes, they do. Hmmmm, I foresee a wheel swap upon delivery of my car.....those boss 302s wheels come up as an option for GTPP cars when you try to configure a winter wheel setup on their site.
Or god forbid the spoiler delete debate, haha. Never seen a group of people whine about a useless silly little piece of plastic not being on a car then here....Just be thankful it hasn't stirred up as many arguments as that Daytime Running Lights thread...
Or mpg in a V8 performance car, oh wait....
This....im enjoying ever single mile with my 18mpg GTPP
should be called SPG. smiles per gallon
I am struggling between EcoBost+PP Vs W/O...I was pretty set on not getting a PP until I find out I need to get a winter wheel/tires packages anyway without PP. So there is only one question to prevent me from getting a PP: how is your fuel economy on EcoBoost PP?Had a 2012GT and the stock suspension was too soft. I upgraded to the Roush Trak Pak suspension which was made by KW to Roush specs. The Roush is an extremely firm suspension that was great for track days but a little rough if you are looking for a comfortable daily drive.
I bought the Ecoboost with the PP and have to say I could not be happier. It handles great and has the firmness much like the Roush setup but much more comfortable as a daily driver.
Every sports or sporty car I have owned the first thing I did was upgrade the suspension because of poor handling usually as a result of being too "soft".
This is the first car that I have owned that the suspension was not my first priority. I am very impressed with handling and how confidence inspiring it is compared to some of my modified setups in the past. At this point I am not sure I will change anything in the suspension, so for me it is a great value.
I have to speak up on this. As improved as it may be, I find the base suspension pretty damned bad. Its floaty, it corners horrible,it feels unstable at turns. I dont love itCounterpoint.
The non-PP handles SO much better than the base 11/12 that you may find it just to your taste. Advantage is you still get 18-inch rims with non-summer tires (that's a real advantage for me) and you are not saddled with the 3.73 gears that are just too short. Standard 3.31s are pretty relaxed and you can go with the 3.55s if you like. For me, a black wheel hater, it was the best compromise.

Hell I live in CA with a 60+mi daily grind through the Silicon Valley and the pp gt is going to be my gas saver, I'll still be driving my 15mpg truck on days I don't feel like battling traffic with the clutch.This....
Always grew up with fast things... Before that was always told by the Old Man.... "U wanna play? U gotta pay".
Even my wife thought the standard 15' we rented felt floaty and agreed performance pack or bust.I have to speak up on this. As improved as it may be, I find the base suspension pretty damned bad. Its floaty, it corners horrible,it feels unstable at turns. I dont love it
Answering your second question:Awaiting my non-PP GT with EDD 03/06/15. I'm curious on two fronts?
1) What are the handling impressions of those w/o the PP? I've seen plenty of posts stating "get the PP" but of course ATs can't get that. This will be my daily driver and my choice of AT took this into consideration and pushed me into a no PP solution. I'm curious how actual owners of AT 5.0 GTs w/o PP would describe the handling? Would you as a non-PP 5.0 GT owner take it to the track? I have never taken a car to the track but I'd like to some day.
2) What would be the priority of PP mods you'd make to improve handling? (e.g. what would make the most notable difference?)
Thanks for any and all opinions/input/suggestions.
I don't actually own the 2015 Mustang GT yet, but have test driven the automatic base GT. First test drive in fact. I can give an opinion on 1). I almost didn't look further into the new mustang after that test drive. It was floaty, just like I remember mustangs to feel.Awaiting my non-PP GT with EDD 03/06/15. I'm curious on two fronts?
