  1. FR Touring or Sport Back Fire

Agree that the FRPP Touring isn't even close to being quiet, especially outside the car. Whether or not the additional bark of the Sport would put it over the top, I cannot say . What I can say is that to me the FRPP is perfect. :D
  2. FR Touring or Sport Back Fire

I highly recommend the FRPP Touring by Borla. Very aggressive sounding with the windows open under throttle but never intrusive in the cabin; it just sounds really powerful. I've heard from others who have followed me that when accelerating hard it sounds like a machine gun. But really, no drone...
  3. Cool picture of my car in a night alley

Best pic of a Mustang I've seen yet. Great Job!
  4. JLT Oil Separator?

By 3000 miles mine had trapped about a tablespoon or more of oil, which I am glad did not go into my intake.
  5. What is your Oil Catch Can... Catching?

Less than a tablespoon after 3200 miles, but glad it didn't go into the intake.
  6. Steering calibration?

The G-Trac brace made a big difference in ability to turn in with exactitude on my PP-equipped GT, albeit modified with Steeda springs and sways. The back end of my car got where I needed it with Steeda springs, sways, bushing mounts and vertical links. The car now steers beautifully, doesn't...
  7. 401A

A big yes. The BLIS sees cars when backing out of a driveway with parked cars line the street near the driveway, obstructing the view from the driver's seat. It also is extra reassurance when changing lanes on mobbed freeways with cars coming from everywhere to get ahead. Also with the bass and...
  8. GT 5.0 Oil Consumption in first 1000 miles?

I changed to Mobil One at 1K; at that point oil usage was nearly nil. Now at 3.2K, the oil level is right to the top of the hash mark with the oil temperature barely warm and the car dead level, still nil. The oil looked almost as clear as new. I often drive the car hard, too. It's very...
  9. DIY Trunk closer

Wow that's terrible; hopefully a ding remover guy can push it back out, but what a pain! We'll all need to be careful pressing the trunk shut.
  10. Video: How to Install S550 Mustang Interior LEDs! 2015+ Interior LED Conversion Kit!

Vanity lights finally installed! Ended up using the tiniest-bladed screwdriver I had, getting it under the bottom corner nearest the mirror, and then using some mini-pliers to grab the shank of the screwdriver very close to the lens, and then pulling with the pliers to get a straight backward...
  11. Brake pedal hard after sitting

My 2012 BMW 335i did that sometimes, too. It always started with some heavy foot pressure on the pedal and then worked fine.
  12. Chris Harris on Cars - Mustang GT Euro-Spec

Suspension mods such as mine listed below help turn-in and feel quite a bit.
  13. DD Switchbacks - Where have they gone?

Does your triple flash still work for lane changes with just the switchbacks (no resistor) installed?
  14. DD Switchbacks - Where have they gone?

Did I miss it? No resistors equals no triple flash too?
  15. Chris Harris on Cars - Mustang GT Euro-Spec

I agree with him that it is a very good car, and also that in stock form the underpinnings feel a bit rubbery, which is why so many of us do the relatively inexpensive suspension mods to de-rubberize it. After an exhaust for more of the great engine sound and the sway bars, springs, rear bushing...

  17. Best way to remove water spots

Have you tried clay barring using detailing spray as a liquid lubricant? Should work, but find a shady spot to do it!
