Hello everyone! Hope the holiday is going well for you’ll so far.
I have been hearing this noise in the passenger door for the longest. I thought if I ignore it long enough it would go away, it didn’t and it is annoying and really annoying.
I hope someone might be able to help identify what’s making this noise. Thank you in advance. HAPPY HOLIDAYS to all of you and your families as well.

Can you duplicate it at a standstill? Is there a fastener of some sort vibrating between the panel/door frame?

Pull the door panel off.

Then looking at the door shell, you will see metal clips for where certain mount points for the door panel to door, as well as any plastic clips for the wiring. You can use either electrical tape or felt tape as isolators. Remove the clips, place the tape of your choice over the location where the clip resides. Use an ice pick or sharp object to repoke holes where needed in the tape for screws or push pins. Place the clip back into position. Tap the door shell and see if there any any rattles. If there are still rattles, isolate those areas better.

Check all door cavities for anything laying inside the bottom of the door shell. Remove that item or again, isolate the item making the noise. Do not block any part of the window operating mechanics.

Now check the back of the door panel, do the same by isolating anything on the backside of the panel that is loose.

No other rattles from door shell or door panel, put the door panel back on.

thank you for replying!
I only hear the noise when I’m driving on the interstate. I normally drive with my windows down when wife isn’t with me in the car then I hear the joyful noise that matters (the exhaust😃). Therefore no noise at standstill.

Agreed with the statements above, noise can travel in funny ways. I had something that sounded like a marble rolling around in my passenger door upon acceleration when I first got my car……. Ended up being a loose bolt on my driveshaft hanger block. Truly sounded like a marble rolling around in the passenger door. Even a passenger thought it sounded like it was coming from the door. A “chassis ear” (electronic listening unit) is what brought me closer to where the actual area was, if you have the means of borrowing one, it can help a lot 🫡

I had a sound like this, but it was more of a clicking.. it ended up being the passenger seat recline handle. Had the door panel off multiple times trying to find it.

Im sure that is not your issue, but just throwing it out there. Yours sounds more pronounced. Check around the sill plate/seat track area is my best suggestion.

FYI - The rattles and other noises I hear inside my 2023 are worse now with the snow and cold weather. I stopped driving with the radio off:) Once my car warms up, most of the noises disappear.
