Dead battery usually loses all your settings.

I lost my powers seat settings, lock options, headlight options and my color when my battery took a dump.

Just had to reset everything.

Interesting finds. Does anyone else get notifications from Ford pass about things being disabled due to low battery voltage? Seems odd to be getting them so often.
I did get it once, after storing the car during bad weather for a little over a week. But when I finally took the car out it started just fine.

This is off the topic but one odd thing I noticed with Ford Pass, is the oil life reading. It drops by about 1% every other day even when the car stayed dormant most of the time. I had the car serviced a month ago, and have only driven about 300 kms, the oil life dropped from 100% to 75% now.

Weird. I get the message quite often about battery optimization. I had received after I had driven the car 5 minutes, parked in a parking lot and the car was off.

I do, almost every other day. Albeit, from 1st April 2020, I have not been driving my car daily.
When I did drive it daily, I was only driving 18 miles, one way. But, that also included 10 miles on an express lane, at 70-80 miles an hour.

Resurrecting this thread. I found this by searching because our '18 is doing the same thing. Driver door opens fine. Passenger completely non-responsive. Car has indeed been sitting in semi-storage for the past few months. Only driven once or twice a week and I am periodically getting the battery optimization message on the middle screen. Also, it seems as if the trunk light goes off really quickly. As others have theorized, it's probably a low-ish battery issue.

Just need to keep it running for a couple hours. It works fine once the battery gets fully juiced again.

FWIW I can be standing by the trunk with the fob in my pocket and the passenger door will unlock for my wife.
I don't know if the battery is your problem but these cars, really all modern cars, are super sensitive to battery condition and do all sorts of weird stuff. As for charging it, don't rely on the alternator to get the battery topped up. If at all possible use a dedicated battery charger. Set it to a couple of amps and let it run overnight. You will get much better results.

You need to reset the BMS in your car. Press the start button to power on, engine off. Next flash the high beams 5 times in a row. Next step on the brake pedal 3 times in a row. Then watch the dash battery light which should flash and then go dark. You are all set unless the battery in your car is low. In that case, the BMs will start to eliminate several electrical features to conserve power.
