Was your timing off? Balancer typically seat and will not seat any more. That being said you can probably find a measurement online from the balancer to the block.

timing was off by one link on the DS. I made sure it was correct this time and even counted 31 links in between timing marks on both sides. So I think I’m good now.
I looked everywhere for a measurement guide. Can’t seem to find one yet.

If time allows I warm the balancer up by sitting it in front of a heater or in the oven about 175*~200* and install it when the engine is the coldest like first thing in the morning if possible. This makes it a lot easier. If I don’t have time then impact it is. Otherwise tighten until she will not go any further then torque it
