Based on what I read here, my dealer was optimistic about when my EcoBoost will be made. Not that I am overly upset, but I will miss a few events I wanted to be in. Delays are nothing new for Mustangs on order. They cannot fully anticipate what options are in demand until the orders come in. If the vendor is set up for a thousand units a month, then those with that option will schedule accordingly. If there are 1500 sold, that means an added two weeks to the schedule. That and the priorities system makes for interesting issues. And I suspect that a ranking system among the dealers affects how their priorities are allocated. A smaller dealer might have one priority 10, two priority 11, based on their market. While a large dealer that sells 20-30 Mustangs a month, might get a dozen priority 10 available.
