You could go for an Anchor Room blackout kit if you wanted to go for that instead, maybe not as smooth looking as the shop above, but better than the orange.

Have your thought of continuing the gloss black theme into the front splitter and side splitter as the texture grey plastic finish don't work too well, think it would look even better if those were gloss black too.

Otherwise at first I was like meh, now I am like, very nice!

Yes and yes. I did this to my 17. you have to order (or cast your own) clear lens then either send off your headlights or install it yourself. Which is a massive PiTA with these headlights. Time consuming and a lot of work/money for something no one but you will really ever notice. Takes weeks with out using the car so this type of mod is best to do with other things being done. Like when you were painting the car.

If someone were to describe this car to me, I'd be shaking my head no. But somehow it works for me. But I've always been a fan of odd colors.

Yes, you can disassemble the clear lens from the bucket. For the 15-17 headlights it is a PITA but after 6 heat cycles per headlight in my oven I was able to separate the parts and eliminate the amber lens. Then you need to remove the left over adhesive and re-seal the parts. Full weekend project.

For 15-17 you need to pull the front bumper off to access the headlights.

Did you paint this thing in a booth? reason why i'm asking is i have a hood i want to paint, and all the shops around here are giving me bitch panty quotes. How did you deal with the dust in the air?
