I'm getting stopped everyday - people even waving me down and yelling -- "Love that Color!!" . I get many people asking "Is that a stock color? It looks amazing!" I think it brings out the shape of the car.

I'm really happy with this crazy choice -- and also see other car makes coming out with this type of color -- low saturation, mid value colors, browns and soft grey and blues as well.

Yeah I noticed a lot of mild brown/gray/tan cars these days. Toyota has some killer colors on the Tacoma.

I went with the Crimson because I never see one on the road and wanted my car to be a bit different, it's also why didn't want black wheels. When I started reading the tread I was thinking why?? Then I kept reading and it grew on me, much like the new front end of the '18 grew on me.

That front grill is so reminiscent of the Maserati grill...and that a good thing. The color is very unique but works. The total of all the subtle mods works and shows great.

I know some of you will love the original rims -- I liked them but was going for a different design.

What you could do is glue on some magnets on the back of the badges (some of those super powerful ones) along with some kind of scratch preventive barrier (polyurethane, perhaps) and experiment with placement and "living with it" to see how it grows on you.

It took about 5 weeks. The Engine was not pulled. But it looks great under the hood. I'll add a pick soon.
