I think you'll find there are as many opinions about this topic as there are brands.

Project Farm has some informative and entertaining content on oil

They’re all the best by todays tribology standards.

Try different brands and use the one that your engine runs smoothest on. Some engines seem to have a preference on oil.

ANY oil that meets manufacturers specs for your model and use.

Any full syn 5W-30 is "good". I've always run Mobil, so the GT gets Mobil 1 5W-30.

Any of the above mentioned brands when changed at regular intervals or sooner.
I personally do all my oil changes on my vehicles every 5000 miles.

I have just gone over 3000 miles since my last oil change....Perhaps now is the time to change the oil.

This is pure placebo based on brands.

Pennzoil Ultra Platinum every 3k.
You should just open the bottle and dump it out in the trash. This isn't 1970. PUP will go over 8-10K intervals with zero advantage changing it sooner, except cost and pure waste.

I 100% agree unless you are supercharged. Even then I think 3K might be a little excessive but I change it at that point anyway.

Guess if it takes 4-8 months to get to 3000, it wouldn’t be much of a waste. That’s about once per year for me.
