  1. Creaking Noise When Lowering Windows

Had the same problem on my convertible; I just wax the windows inside and out and it goes away. Does comeback occasionally with rain and stuff - I think there's a rubber piece 'rubbing' against the window that folded over. Haven't had the time to take the door panel off and look at it though.
  2. Car won't start

Also maybe take a look at this
  3. Car won't start

Clutch down, Accelerator Fully Down, press the start button three times in 5 second intervals than try to start. Ideally if you have a fuel pressure gauge to hook up that would be nice as well.
  4. Car won't start

Disconnect the battery for 15 minutes, re-connect, and crank the car see if it starts. Might seem crazy let me know what happens.
  5. Violent Shaking From Shifter

I have a family member whos been a master tech for decades that teaches automotive at top trade schools. The number one issue that he sees today is kids getting into the trade that aren't really interested in cars in comparison to his time in school. Lack of workmanship at dealerships really suck.
  6. These Damn Birds...

Meguiars Ultimate Compound on a microfiber for literally like 2 minutes and it was gone.
  7. These Damn Birds...

Bird must have ate acid or something
  8. These Damn Birds...

Ill grab some pictures in a minute..
  9. These Damn Birds...

Sealant which is why I was surprised. I washed the car last night I might try some water spot remover on it to see if the acidity from that helps remove it. Than maybe hand polish with a compound. Fucking birds man.
  10. These Damn Birds...

Birds shit on my car yesterday and it sat in 90 degree heat for a few hours. I've found it to be etched into the clear coat, any options to remove that besides a dual action polisher?
  11. Diff Fluid Question

I have the standard limited slip diff on my 2016 Mustang. Service manual calls for 75w85 Diff fluid along with a tiny bottle of friction modifier. I've serviced my differential before with the standard motorcraft fluid but I was wondering if there are different options for brands as far as rear...
  12. How to properly diagnose, clean or replace 5.0 throttle body?

Pretty easy to do so don't stress out over it. First I'd buy a replacement throttle body gasket because Ford does recommend to replace them upon removal of the throttle body. Removing them is pretty easy, remove the bolts in a cross pattern and disconnect the connector. Once removed make sure...
  13. Who changes their own oil with a factory Ford warranty?

I use the OEM oil filters and write the mileage and date on them, then I take a picture of it held up to the odometer. They can't void you're warranty especially if you have the receipts.
  14. Spare Tire Question

I have a Base model Mustang with 235/55/R17 stock tires. The car never came with a spare tire and I'm looking to get a donut to throw in the back just in case. Does anyone know the size? I can't find it anywhere online besides a kit for 235 dollars which is crazy expensive I'd rather just buy...
  15. Oil

I've worked on motors where the owners have changed their oil at 8-10k per manufactures service intervals. Every single one has been a quart and a half low on oil sometimes even more. 100k miles from now my engine will be as efficient as it left the factory but to each their own I realize this...
  16. Oil

    Pennzoil Ultra Platinum every 3k.
  17. Spark Plug Tube Seals

So I recently did spark plugs on my 16 v6 Mustang and found that I have tube seals beginning to fail, has anyone on here done them? If so do you need any specialty tools?
  18. Battery fuse on 3.7 litre blown?

Reversing polarity when installing a battery is a big no-no but shit happens I guess. Anyways, I get a scan tool hooked up to it and see what the issue is. If the car starts and drives normally with everything functioning you should be fine. Also check the voltage reading on the dash if its...
  19. front suspension / grease zert

If anything you got really lucky you can maintain your ball joints, the "forever" grease they put into modern cars now make no sense to me.
  20. Curious about oil life

Not properly braking in any vehicle can cause problems like the coyote tick (I'm a strong believer this is due to bad break in procedure combined with bad oil) and the burning of oil over time. As for oil change intervals I don't follow the maintenance lights I'm a controversial believer in...
