If it looks like the 1st shop screwed the pooch and maybe the second shop can/will act as a expert witness you could go to small claims court if the first shop will not work with you on this.
Well, that would take care of the problem of the reflection off of the top of spoke and you are right they are expensive. Thanks, but I guess I'll just have to tolerate the reflection.
I wish there was a insert for the top on the steering wheel where the aluminum is on the spokes. The sun glares off of it and bothers me more than anything else.
Some of us do it because we like working on our cars because we enjoy it. I have been doing oil changes since I was 15 and I'm 69 now. On the other hand I use the Auto Craft Shop on base so most of the things you list are provided which makes it less expensive.
