Yep, either a master reset (to re-index) or a forced re-index through media player settings seems to be clearing this up for everyone.
How do you do that second choice?

Hey, do you know why the Ford Sync update site keeps telling me my car is up to date with 3.3-19052? Doesn't make sense other 2019 Bullitt owners were able to update to 3.4-20136 and I can't. My VIN is xxx07141 with build date of 09 Aug 2019, if that helps. Just tried now, and same thing. Thx.

Source the USB drive, then go to Settings -> Media Player and there's the option to reset the media index in there.

Not sure what's up with the site. I've heard random reports of those still saying v3.3 is updated. You can run a working VIN to grab the download, just make sure it's the same Nav/Non-Nav that you have.

I prefer to do it right, since it's VIN specific, and also send back the file each car generates. Don't mind waiting a few days, but what do you think is going on? Do you think my car will be added later on? Or if it didn't already, it never will? The Ford hotline is a joke, with young folks answering from India (it seems) that have no idea what's going on. The last one yesterday kept saying there's no way a 2019 Mustang has been upgraded to 3.4; go figure. But that tells me at least some cars haven't been officially included. Who knows.

The may have taken it down temporarily to fix something, like the looping. Some other VINs I've used before from use cars now also show v3.3. These updates are VIN linked though like map updates. You just need to make sure you have the right nav / non-nav download.

Even though my Nav maps continue to update in 35 minutes (tried twice) it displays Complete and here's what's been loaded. Guess I'm ok.

Just did my nav update today, took a hair under 40 minutes. Mine reads the same as yours.

After having some time with Sync3 3.4 today... I think I like 3.3 and lower better. The UI doesn’t seem as clean, IMO. Am I alone on this? If I had an Android phone I’d probably not care simply for google maps directions being in the gauge cluster, but since that’s not available for iOS devices for whatever reason, here we are.
Admittedly, it does seem to run/react a tiny bit faster than v3.3 did. Is there a list anywhere of Sync3 compatible (phone) apps? I know Pandora and Waze.

Cyanlabs method is like jailbreaking method for iPhones. Their downloader allows the install /update of Sync and Nav versions bypassing Ford's checking methods. You still downloading official Ford downloads from Ford servers. All is done from one place. This is how Sync3 v3.0 owners can install newer versions like v3.4. Because of their outdated APIM, Ford doesn't allow this. Check out the Cyanlabs community forum

These are found in the display settings

I have 3.4 now, but cannot find that Calm Screen button anywhere.

Master reset in the settings or hold power and forward arrow together for several seconds?
