My heated steering wheel button does nothing for me...oh it is probably because I no longer have a heated steering wheel.

I have not updated yet, and I have a heated wheel button on the Home Screen but not the climate screen (unless I go into a sub menu from the climate screen).
They moved the heated steering wheel control around in the 3.4 update...

I notice on the main Ford page, there is a big ad that says update Sync 3 "Take the Smart way with Alexa and Waze". Maybe they integrated those two apps into the system?

TV and Sonos require very little data throughput - downloading a multigigabyte file does
A smart TV streaming 4K video can pull 15-25 MB/sec...
The steering wheel is still in the same place.

It was hidden in a submenu of the climate page in 3.3 even though there was an empty slot on the main page for it. 3.4 it got moved into that position...

Both apps require the use of your phone and connection to Android Auto or Apple CarPlay. Both the Waze app and the Ford + Alexa apps must be loaded on your phone as well.

Funny because this is a pic of my V3.3 screen. Honestly I do not remember.

Yep, that is the way it has always been. I wonder why they now choose to put that ad up.

I just tested 47 Mbps out in the garage. Odd that it wouldn't download Sync without moving the router.

Well I am on that one, I just don't have this newest minor one I guess. My '19 and '20 GT's both had the heated steering wheel in the same place for what it's worth. On Home Screen and in a sub menu of the climate page.

WiFi didn't work for me either until I moved my router to the garage temporarily. It must need really strong signal strength because I have a smart tv and Sonos out there that work fine.
Hmmm....that is interesting. When I tried the WiFi, I’d get the twirling circles like it wad looking for an update, the screen would stutter, then more twirling circles, repeat, repeat....

Mine failed right away and there was an error message.

I think you are mixing up bits and bytes. 4k video streaming needs about 25Mbits/sec connection and uses about 230Mb / minute (just over 3Mb/sec) Pulling a 3Gb file (or 22Gb file for maps) over wireless n at a generous 30Mbps will take about 20 minutes (or best part of 2 hours for the maps). It will take about 3 times as long over 4g. In addition the wireless n card in Sync is buried in the car APIM so unless the WiFi access is right next to the car throughput will be very poor.

The heated steering wheel button has always been on the home screen in UK cars from V3.0 to V3.2 - V3.4 as per Ira's post above
