I'm thinking about trying it out to see if it will help the 2-3 shift any. I just pray that I'm able to overcome 22yrs of muscle memory and keep my foot on the gas..

Does anyone have feedback on doing it?

I am sure I should consult the manual, but how do you know if your car has no-lift shift?

Fairly certain the only ones that do have this are the Mach 1 trims 21-23MY.

Not sure about the new cars, although, not saying you can't do it without whatever they added to the vehicles to allow the no lift shift feature cause I know it isn't something you NEED to have that stuff to do it

FWIW my cousin did this all the time in his 2012 GT and after 60k his transmission felt like a limp noodle lol.

Only on the MACH1 Track attack car. Like you said, it is tough to break decades worth of muscle memory, but you get the hang of it fairly quickly.

I think all the Tremac equipped M1 have it.

I have always done it, and as @K4fxd mentioned a missed gear does result in a shredded gear. T-5's were notorious for losing 3rd. It was hard when I added a Procharger to my 03 Mach, and I had to lift of the throttle. My current Mach is equipped with it, and I utilize it daily.

Can't comment on the MT82. But the No lift shift on the Mach 1 works flawlessly. Once you do it couple of times you get used to it. Although I still enjoy doing it without it, mainly because the exhaust makes a nice pop between shifts that way.
