This shop also did the timing wrong BOTH times

I started the car with the 2nd engine and the timing was so bad.. the whole passenger side was wrong and heated up to like 500 degrees right away... so not sure of that could have messed up the rings right away?
If this is the case? The shop is lost. They don't have a clue and your money is gone IMO.

They know about that, so they finally got ford to fix the timing and expressed how sorry they were for fking it up AGAIN.
I then proceeded to break it in and noticed even after 2k miles that it was still consuming oil.. I just decided to accept that's how it is unfortunately, but now I'm 3 months later and wish I went after them for a proper engine since now I'm annoyed and realize I shouldn't be adding this much oil

whatever amount for pistons rods, bearings etc ..

3k to build, then another 3k for new pistons etc after they had to "fix it" to rebuild it
Plus engine re and re.. and re..

Too much and still at square 1

We break em in on the Dyno. .026” top ring gap. Only oil missing is what gets caught in the catch can. (Less than 6oz in 2400 miles).

Pull your plugs. If one bank shows lots of oil/black color and the other bank looks cleaner, that bank of rings got fried.

If the plugs all look the same (I’m sure they may all be black). Your ring gaps are probably over .032”.

Sorry for your troubles.

How much of that oil is ending up in catch cans?

2k miles on my 19s oil change. No noticeable movement on the stick.

I actually just have breathers- maybe a proper catch can could help?

Shop should have given you a build sheet with cylinder bore dimensions, piston OD, ring end gaps (top ring only), all bearing clearances, crank thrust, etc.

If not, they have no business building a Coyote, or anything else for that matter.

Funny I asked then for a build sheet and they kept saying " ya ya I'll send it to you" ... a few months later and still nothing lol

I'll ask them tomorrow and see :)
