whatever amount for pistons rods, bearings etc .. 3k to build, then another 3k for new pistons etc after they had to "fix it" to rebuild it Plus engine re and re.. and re.. Too much and still at square 1

They know about that, so they finally got ford to fix the timing and expressed how sorry they were for fking it up AGAIN. I then proceeded to break it in and noticed even after 2k miles that it was still consuming oil.. I just decided to accept that's how it is unfortunately, but now I'm 3...

I also used Lucas oil and did a few heat cycles Just kind of have to live with it now I guess

This shop also did the timing wrong BOTH times I started the car with the 2nd engine and the timing was so bad.. the whole passenger side was wrong and heated up to like 500 degrees right away... so not sure of that could have messed up the rings right away?

This is the 2nd time around that this shop built the engine( no I will never go back here and I really regret going here to begin with) First time they built it, the engine was consuming oil ( under high rpm- a few quarts per 600 miles) Ended up warping the pistons cause it got so low on oil...

Yea mine took .020 to clean the cylinders

It's a gen 2, so no plasma and I'm not sleeving it... It has the water jacket supports though
