Snow on a stang? Definitely mustang abuse.

At least he has a garage so the car can dry out every night. I think it's worse when people have no garage, and the car is exposed to the elements 24/7.You say that now, wait till the rust kicks in![]()
Ahh, a ‘73 convertible…one of my favourites.Snow will soon be history in Iowa, and I can take off the snow tires!
The '73 convertible in my other garage will get parked in the winter, assuming I get the restoration done, but I am going to enjoy driving this lady every day! Will be a tough choice when I have 2 Mustangs to choose from....

I think it’s actually the opposite. I leave my salt covered cars out of the garage until I’ve been able to clean them off.At least he has a garage so the car can dry out every night. I think it's worse when people have no garage, and the car is exposed to the elements 24/7.
Corrosion is a chemical reaction like most others, it needs energy to work. Sitting outside in the cold actually helps. Especially if it's below freezing outside. A garage will allow ice to melt into water, which is enemy number one. Ice can't generate the necessary ions to corrode anything. At least he has a garage so the car can dry out every night. Chiming in to reinforce this correct statement. Wash your car before putting it into the garage once it has been saltified such as my 2015 Mazda6 is at the moment. I don't even want it sitting next to the stang in the garage lmao! Also, fuck these Illinois winter storms. We passed 42 cars in the ditch today.Corrosion is a chemical reaction like most others, it needs energy to work. Sitting outside in the cold actually helps. Especially if it's below freezing outside. Totally agree! These cars are actually very good in the snow if you ask me. Put on a set of snow tires and it becomes a snow monster on the roads.
I learned how to drive in the snow with a 98 Mustang, these S550's are worlds better.
