I got a letter in the mail today wanting me to bring my car in for them to fix something with the low pressure fuel line. Has anyone else received this? While I am not 100% opposed to take my car in for this - I just dont have the time to be without my car. So for now, I am going to do nothing -...
Yeah, I think you will need something a little finer to remove the haze. V38 from chemical guys or something with a grit finer than 2500 SHOULD remove the haze.
But this is a good example of doing a test spot first... but, you should have no problem getting it to be perfect again.
Here are some pictures of me and my dad building our Wooden track. The back straightaway is about 20 ft long.
We even had a switching mechanism for cars to come into the pit lane. Unfortunately, this no longer works correctly and has been removed along with the pits.
My dad and his two brothers had old HO scale tracks back when they were kids. They loved them. 20 years ago my dad and his brothers bought 4 sets of Carrera 1/32 tracks for us kids and for our grandmother. We each had our own track at home and one track at our grand mothers place - where we...
Mine was very bad before I got a tune. Upshifting was fine in Normal and Sport modes from the beginning - no complaints about that. But the downshifts were horrendous. It felt like someone was rear ending me - they were that harsh.
After MANY warranty visits they added some fluid and swapped...
When my car was totaled - it was 100% not my fault. I was rear ended on the highway. But even though the police report blamed the person that hit me - I still wish I would have had someone on my side because dealing with their insurance was an absolute nightmare.
But seriously, because they are getting an attorney it would probably be wise to do the same.. While I am curious what happened, it would probably be smart not to post details about the incident on here until its resolved.
I hope you wife is doing well.
See the video! (I hope it uploads!)
Well we made the actual track out of wood and the copper rails are just copper stained glass hobby tape. The transformers and controller plugs were donated by Carrera Evolution parts.
My dad and I built this... 15ish years ago. Since then it has been...
So my reasoning for staying with a similar size (I am willing to go a little wider if I have to) is I really like sliding around in my car. I like the knife edge feel. If I add wider tires, I fear I will have too much grip lol
Thank you for your responses and sorry for getting back so late...
Ah yes! We have 4 active lanes (driver controlled) and one drone/pace car lane for when we have a serious accident. All participants are forced to go at a reduced speed.
Its hard to tell by the pictures, but in each of the turns the lanes start to narrow in on each other to mimic a racing...
Hey all,
I am just starting out looking into getting new wheels for my car. I really have only two requirements 1. They must be the same size that I have now. 2. The new wheels must be lighter weight than the stock OEM ones. I am having trouble confirming the things below. Are there any good...
I don't use use any of these connect to car apps. But if you like how its currently behaving - I would suggest disabling auto updates from the playstore for Android Auto app. That way it stays the same going forward. I do not know if you are able to disable something like that from google though.
Hello all.
I installed an upgraded intercooler a few weeks ago and so far its working out pretty well I think. Makes a cool swirling noise between 5 inHG and 10 psi. Higher RPMs feel better. But it is a little hard to tell because it has been pretty cold outside since I installed it...
My mini review of installing a new intercooler and question at the bottom.
Over this holiday week I installed a slightly larger intercooler to replace the stock one. The quality was very nice. Though, a lot heavier than I was expecting. The install was straightforward. Honestly removing the...
