  1. Mustang Cosmetic/Visual Magazines/Site?

A lot of the open internet has put car communities in strangleholds, some of it the fault of the car community being gatekeepers. What this results in are mega groups on FB all designed to be helpful but typically resort to shit talking each other or trolling constantly. Try to find a niche...
  2. Thoughts on Visual Theme

What are our thoughts on the theme I went with this year? I would like to try something different relatively quickly and was thinking about some sort of two tone look. Possibly wrapping the back end/back third of car with metallic purple (like oil spill) that then blends to the orange with some...
  3. hood struts?

No, it needs a finger touch in that direction before climbing upwards so I won't say it does so by itself.
  4. Getting an Actual Camera Is Stupendous [Canon R50]

Check out these novice snaps. I can't wait to get better. Open to any suggestions/tips/recommendations.
  5. hood struts?

I can chime in and say that I bought the Ford Performance struts and had zero issues installing. They do the job. My reasoning was strictly aesthetic (consistency with build) as I had gone with Ford Performance lowering springs.
  6. Drag Strip Results and Questions

Hot damn! I shall, but also don't think it's the smartest idea to take those tires back out in general. Hopefully this marketplace deal works out so I can do something before end of season.
  7. Drag Strip Results and Questions

I'm launching at 2,500 or less with how it has been taking off. Essentially I lose traction when shifting into next gear, which is why I'm leaning towards suspension parts. I also feathered the whole time when running 12.5-13 and was disappointed in the performance. Just wanted to stay safe at...
  8. Drag Strip Results and Questions

I also think that buying a more common wheel setup will allow me to run better tires than the Nittos, which are fantastic for spirited driving on the street. I'm partial to Michelin Pilot Sports. I may have found a deal on Marketplace. $500 for Race Stars but come with Mickey Thompson tires...
  9. Drag Strip Results and Questions

Hello all, I just finished my second trip to the drag strip and immediately felt the itch. I wanted to see the performance of my current setup with all safety features enabled on the car as well as off. Here are my experiences in the pictures below. I am car 50 and car 10. My setup to obtain...
  10. Mustang Photograph of the Month Contest – July 2024

I have an identical shot! Along with the dashcam footage. Lots of fun. Here it is at the summit.
  11. My first ever trip to the drag strip

I feel that the tuner did a fantastic job.
  12. Need help designing the transition between wrap and paint

Glad someone shares my opinion. For me, it all started with the calipers. I didn't want to paint match simply because I was trying to be obnoxious, and ended up blending my own shade of purple. It's pretty slick, where it looks purple in the sun or show lighting, but the shade or overcast...
  13. My first ever trip to the drag strip

I posted in another reply. Those are amazing times! I had basic traction control off.

  15. My first ever trip to the drag strip

I agree. I think I'm happy with how the car performed overall. I need to get better both with my nerves and knowing my car.
  16. My first ever trip to the drag strip

First trip with street tires. I had a really late start off the line from being so nervous. Welcome to any pointers.
  17. Need help designing the transition between wrap and paint

My friend called me after this cuz he knows the dude with that car hahaha. Small world.
  18. Need help designing the transition between wrap and paint

I am, but not in an attempt to be an influencer haha. I just post the shit I've done so I can always look back like an organized log. I do follow him and laughed when I saw someone else rocking the purple. Just found this one:
  19. Need help designing the transition between wrap and paint

So I had a bumper repair which yielded a slightly lighter color twister orange than OEM, and I think it is due to not perfecting the mid coat in the tri coat process. It looks great, and I feel bad going back and asking for a respray (I will be visiting them when warm enough to drive again), but...
