My pcm failure

I have mustang gt 2018 5.0l gt
My engine control moduel (pcm)
Lost i bought another one from same car but I can't reprogram the pcm
There is a device it called VCM2
Any one work on it can helpe me to do it

Forscan w the OBD linkex or whatever should be able to program it.

Hello pro can you told me the pats where is it on my ford cause I think in

You will need to be able to change the VIN in the new PCM to that of the car. ForeScan will not do this. AFAIK IDS will not either.

I cannot find the thread but a member here put a 5.0 in an ecoboost car and changed computers. Look him up and ask what he did to get it to work. IIRC it took almost a year to get it running.

This company i emailed them they told me that will send pdf file can paybass the pats but I don't know what I need to do with it

You need to read this thread and contact the OP as he had to have the dealer do this for him.

Read the above linked thread before you spend anymore money. It is not just PATS delete the other modules need to communicate with the PCM and to do that they all need the same VIN number.

The easiest way might be to buy a computer pre programmed from Ford.

What makes you think that I can turn off the p.a.t.s I ether need the computer or a way to remote assess it. What tuning devices do you have
