The wife and I took the mustang to KC Friday to watch her daughter show sheep in the American Royal. On the way home just cruising it made a weird sound and the head temps started climbing quickly. Pulled over to see that one of the idler pulleys on the supercharger bracket came a part and broke the belt. Ended up waiting 4.5 hrs on the side of the road waiting for my dad to bring his truck and a trailer from Springfield(about 2 hrs away) to pull me home. Hopefully ESS is good on their warranty. Dragged it home and going to take the blower and bracket off tomorrow.

Update: Emailed ESS this morning. The email said that it could take up to 3 days to respond. Anyone have a number that I can call?

Update2: ESS reached out to me about an hour ago(6:15ish central time) on the phone. Said that it was weird for that pulley to go bad. But, he said that he would have a new pulley and belt out today overnight! Outstanding customer service so far!

It was loctited and didn't come loose. The bearing in the pulley came apart.

I would see about getting the part number off of the damaged bearing and contacting World Wide Bearings and see if they can give you a part number for a ceramic bearing for an upgrade.

Checked the catchcan a few times in the first 2,000 miles or so with a little in the bottom of the can. Today I decided to check it since it's been a few weeks and this is what I found. It came from the drivers side. WTF? It's been cold her like 20* F in the mornings. Bad gas? Car runs fine and doesn't seem to have lost any coolant.

You’ll be able to do a secondary check when you change your oil, if it looks like that, it’s a problem.

The oil that was coming from the passenger side looks like regular oil.

High humidity and low temps can cause this. You get a ton of condensation as a result, however, this can also indicate a blown head gasket.

What does the underside of your oil fill cap look like?
