They also like to fail under boost. I can deal with rasp, as there are other ways to get rid of it.

Yeah the S58 is no joke. With an unlocked DME you can get 200+ HP from a downpipe, tune, and E50. I know one locally running the same setup on a G80 M3 and is a luxury rocket.

I've run sets of MT street ETs or SS's and personally here in FL love the SS tires. The ETs are too sketchy getting caught in the middle of a thunderstorm. Both grip very well.

Took it to the drag strip for the first time today. It was hot and the air sucked(4,000+ ft). A horrible 2.19 60ft at 11.52 @127.95mph. Couldn't really go wide open till 3rd. Can definitely with practice get the 60ft sub 2.0 and hopefully a 1.8-1.9 and possibly hit a high 10.XX on my daily street tires.

Is 127 good at that DA? That seems crazy slow even at higher elevation and DA. Is everything running correct?

No Idea. ESS G2 with 120mm pulley on a low timing base tune as we have crappy gas here. First time at a Drag Strip in a car in 20 plus years. I'm also not going WOT until upper 3rd gear as it kept spinning. I'm on Conti ECS02 tires.

Did going to the track after 29 years make you want to return more frequently? Is so, some sticky ickies will help you chop down that 60’ and click off that 10 second slip.
