Very nice. But needs large round headlights.I bought this 1934 Ford 2 dr sedan in 1976, it was a body & frame. I did everything except the paint. I was 16, this pic is 1980. I still have the car today.
My dad had a blue '62 4 door Fairlane 500 with a 221 V8- seeing your car brought back some memories- it was probably 6-8 years old when he got it. Was in nice shape. My first car was a '62 Ford Fairlane 500. It had a 260 V8 with a Fordomatic 2 speed. I put a lot of miles and time in that car and had a lot of fun.
Back in the old days, I worked part-time at my uncles used car lot. He got a lot of state patrol cars at auction, that we would clean up and sell. I bought a couple of them, myself. They were well maintained and nicely equipped. But, even cleaned up and with all of the state patrol markings removed, they still looked like cop cars. So, I also experienced cars getting out of my way. But, what I noticed even more was people slowing down in front of me. It was quite annoying!1992 Mercury Grand Marquis in white with the V8. Pretty quick beast for a 16 year old. Folks gave it me. Loved it because all the cop cars at the time were the Ford version and this looked just like one and people moved outta my way thinking I was going to pull them over.
A buddy of mine when I was in the Navy had same color and year but without the long ass, good times on road trips to concerts.First car was a 1966 Ford Econoline van I bought when I was 15 in 1972. Talked my parents into buying it before I got my learner's permit at 15 1/2. Swore I wouldn't drive it until I had that permit . This was back in the van craze; dig the Budweiser curtains and pillows. Lots of fun in that van!
Haven't owned another Ford until I bought my GT350, wandered around with GM stuff for quite a while..
