I don't have 24 years experience but I do have about 10 :cheers:24 years of FI huh? Then you can answer ALL my questions haha. I want to run about 650-700whp. What modifications from most important to least important do I need(Planning on p1x procharger beefcake tuning kit) Clutch, fuel pump, axles, driver mod, suspension, haha. There are so many posts about FI and setups that I figured why not ask. And obviously tires are a whole nother story....
I’m on my 16th mustang but none of them were your S550 platform. I would defer to terry (beefcake) for quality advice specific to your vehicle. I will however offer my .02...24 years of FI huh? They've come a longgggg way since then lol.Wrecked one of my Mustangs back in ‘97 with DR’s during a slight drizzle, going 35mph driving over a slight dip in the road. This is why I have 2 sets of rears now. Lol
those don’t come in “19 for some dumb reason. Good to know about Amazon.Whipple stage 2. Anything over 5k gets scary dangerous on MT Sport comp street tires. They are 100% worthless for planting power. Living on an tropical island Maui, I went with Nitto 555R 305/35/20 drag radials, stickier than summer tires and wont kill me when I get caught in the rain. For the street I have had great luck with them before. For the track its MT SS every pass.
And thank God for amazon prime. Shipping for 2 tires from every retailer out there was $200+. I joined amazon prime and got them shipped for $37 !!! Woohoo
