I'd say those all sound like things the Cobb already had save for the anti-lag. But with a turbo this small and decent hold over from even the factory tune I'd still say they are mostly the same.

Ah, missed that. That would be cool but I'll temper my expectations until they release the full support. Sounds a little dodgy advertising options that have typically only worked on the EcoBoost 2.3 platform across the board on all Ford engines.

Cobb didn't invent any of that, they just used existing tools within the ECU strategy with different triggers for their use. They already exist in the Ecoboost ECU from Ford. Coyote from the factory uses hard/soft limit with the clutch switch for launch control just like Cobb did but the multi strategy map switch probably isn't in there otherwise somebody would have used it by now. That's where all of the other features you mention would come from. Maybe they found something nobody else has in all of those years, but a reasonable person would remain skeptical until they got more than a broadly worded advertisement about a product that doesnt even have support yet.

Neat. Also hard pass. Be prepared to pay 2k (my guess) for a tune.

Looks pretty sweet! I already have a Lund E85 Whipple tune so im probably not going to buy it. But it is definitely intriguing.

It has been available for almost 18 months via Lund racing and others dealers

Available for 15-23 Mustang and 15-20 F150 Ecoboost and NA

PCMTec aim to do one thing really well, so we focus on a limited number of vehicles but aim to do them best-in-market. We are not a jack-of-all, master-of-none type of organisation.
Our focus is performance Ford vehicles - and its what we do best.

When it comes to benefits over the competition, there are several points, but here are the key ones.
We are cheaper. Our credits cost ~$40USD each (Trade Price), a base licence, regardless of vehicle type is 3-Credits
  • We have exceptional, near OEM, level parameter mapping - easily 3-4x as many parameters as the competition - including all the new 10R80 stuff.
  • We support generic J2534 hardware (such as a Tactrix) for flashing straight from our software - no expensive proprietary cable required
  • We support various agnostic methods of flashing remotely (e.g. via our own flash and log software, SCT X4 or Livernois MyCal)
  • We have a huge database backed stock-files server and strategy explorer, allowing you to download, compare and licence any OEM stock file we have processed.
  • We provide responsive support - have a problem with our software? we will talk with you and help you solve it.
  • We write our own software for the Ford PCM (PCMTec CustomOS) which allows you to do features like:
    • TuneSelect - Live map switching with up to 5 different maps
    • LaunchSelect - Live adjustable RPM launch control, with launch map for anti-lag (for TT cars)
    • Flex/FuelSelect - Select your stoichiometry/ethanol content via the speedo or CanBus Flex sensor
    • PowerSelect - Live blending between two maps for adjustable power.
    • Ignition Cut, Transbrake and more are all under consideration/development

You can learn more about our business offerings here: https://www.pcmtec.com/pcmtec-for-businesses-and-workshops

If you just want to try out our software, you can try our ProTuner package, which covers the fundamentals and has an effective price point for evaluation - you can upgrade to Workshop at any time from that level for access to the advanced features.

Alternatively if you simply want a tune check out a tuner here
