I have always been curious if the variable pressure oil pump contributes to the coyote engine tic? As in not having enough oil pressure in certain circumstances to starve a lash adjuster at the end of an oil gallery, and then you get the infamous tick. Unplugging the sensor and allowing the pump to operate as a regular oil pump might shed light on this.
