3000$ doesn't seem too bad if you have a broken mt82.
cheaper than a swap unfortunately .

Says very similar ratios, also says should hold 1000hp no problem... winner, winner.

IMO, this is the only MT-82 upgrade that makes sense. I'd do it if it was possible to add a legitimate trans cooling system at the same time. My MT-82, even with the best fluid on earth, gets hot as SIN in 20 min road course sessions! I need to cool it off, personally. I don't need stronger gears with a tune... haha.

I posted ratios up in another thread, but since only people interested in my build would have seen it, here they are:

1st: 3.49
2nd: 2.32
3rd: 1.61
4th: 1.26
5th: 1
6th: 0.62

Mine is getting built as we speak, should have it in hand next week.

I'd do it if it was possible to add a legitimate trans cooling system at the same time.
It is, if you roll your own setup. I won't link here, but if you're on TMO, there's a few very good write-ups on what parts you'll need and how it all goes together. It can be done for ~$800.

Closer than the stock ratios, except for 6th. Is that the only choice? I was thinking the GT350 ratios, but with the standard 0.65 6th.

they're already available. like now. call ben, he'll cut you an invoice, you pay, send him a tranny, he installs the gearset and ships it back. easy peasy :)

edit: oh you meant the gearset itself. yeah, not gonna happen any time soon. there are too many variables in-play for ben to release them for others to install at the moment.

Not reallly. It’s being exclusively made for him. Seems like it was his idea and not sure if he had to put up a lot of money or time to get this going.
Says modifications must be made to have it work in the trans also.
It’s not really a bad deal if you send him a trashed trans he will rebuild it with the new gforce gears for 3000$.
