I was shocked when i seen how dirty and nasty the OEM fluid was at 50,000 miles. Highly recommend my fellow MT-82 brothers with similar mileage get it swapped out.
I went with BG Products Syncro Shift II Synthetic Gear Oil. I know there are other options out there, but my mechanic has used this fluid for a few other people and it worked out well.

I have no comments on it yet. I'm 50 miles into the break in period with the Vengeance clutch kit and few other goodies we swapped in.

It’s the supplemental ford additive that causes the nasty appearing trans fluid plus it stinks and is hard on bronze parts.
I’ve used BG SSII for a decade or longer in other vehicles and it’s great stuff. Personally I feel the MT-82 responds better to DCTF, Motul Multi DCTF in my case. I’m not here to change your mind but when a fluid is designed around 1200 Hp track Nissan GTR’s and my MT-82 slides into gear with a flick of my wrist I figure I made the perfect choice.

Thanks for the input!! I read some posts on that Motul DCTF and almost went that way, but since i wasn't doing it myself, i let my mechanic get his way. So far so good. It was so hard having someone else work on the car, but after this last shoulder surgery i had, i just can't do it anymore.
