Have looked here and in the Sync 3 swap thread with no luck... somehow I turned off the radio and phone steering wheel controls. Anyone know offhand what module controls this, or which digit to check?

With some of the issues arising from mixing different year as-built modifications I would like to reiterate to anyone considering as-built mods:

Make one change at a time and check the function.
Save a copy of your original as-built data. Don't rely on the data stored at motorcraftservice.com as it is not a permanent record; it can be altered during a service visit.

And as always, if you don't have a solid understanding of how your vehicle uses the as-built data, please reconsider. These modifications are in no way "programming" the car, they merely configure the car to use existing programming.

Has anyone figured out how to keep the gear indicator on all the time?

Apparently Lund can make it work. 1.30 in the video. At 4.10 it shows him driving in D with the gear display on.

This value should lower it to 1 second. I think that there's been some issues with setting it to 0. In my F-150 I've never had consistent results when testing. I've never had a reason to try on the mustang, so please post back if it works for you.

Gear indicator on always.

I haven't been able to find it in ForScan but I did find it in my tuning software.

It is in the TCM section of HP tuners.

The car is much more comfortable to drive. I hated not knowing what gear I was in.

I can't find it in forscan. I used HPtuners.

It is in the TCM. I don't know forscan well enough to know if it can access that unit. If it can someone should be able to find it.

I tried looking through this thread to see if the boost gauge was available for my base model 2016 PP GT. Some said it wouldn't show in the PP cluster. I tried it today and it works. Just wanted to share. I only changed the 6 to a 7 in the first group of numbers. This is in the IPC module.

ask someone to take their as built data with that setting enabled and compare your IPC values against it, bear in mind options etc you need to identify any differences and which they pertain using the spreadsheets on the internet as a guide.
