I'm staying with my 3.5 pulley on my whipple at 13 psi until I build a motor. I know a few guys running a 3.25 pulley on e85 at 15 psi.

the whipple we just did made 759. we have pushed more than that, but that 750 range on the corn is where we feel comfortable, let me know if i can help at all!

So I have 4.00" Pulley with 20% OD damper. According to Whipple that should make 14.5. Subtract .5 - 1.0 for LT's so car may be making 13.5-14.0. I don't have cats, not sure if that plays a factor either.

Car has OPG's, crank gear and BOSS tensioners.

I know in Colorado (5000'+) 3.5" is the max for E-85 at altitude. I'm in KS right now doing shake down passes making sure everything is okay. A 3.5" pulley with 20% OD damper is 18.5, subtract .5 - 1.0 and yeah...that might be too much for this altitude.

What kind of fuel system are you running with that setup?

thats a level 3 setup with rails and id1300s.

a level 1 would do the trick, we have some great deals on the e85 setups from basic to hardcore

I've got a Whipple @ 12psi, id1000s, and a boost-a-pump on the car now. I would like to stick with returnless if possible. Can the E-85 conversion be supported on the stock fuel lines? Is there a replacement pump that can support the ~1.5x fuel requirement or will I have to go the dual or triple pump hat?

What do you get in a level 1 and level 3 setup?

you don't necessarily want to haphazardly increase the boost. Power can be made with timing.

700RWHP on 9psi and 20* of timing is better sounding than 700RWHP on 12psi and 15* of timing in my book

I can't lower the boost, I have the largest pulley Whipple makes.

I have a ZT-2 on the way so we'll see how much this pulley/combo actually makes.

I had no idea you had a Whipple. Very valid point. I would work with your tuner to make the most with each boost level.

14psi and MS109 I went 10.3@140
11.6psi and MS109 I went 10.3@138 in hotter air

Gives you a lot of room for growth

You should make around 800RWHP on a whipple with 14-15psi and corn
You should make around 750RWHP on a whipple with 12-13psi and corn

We're making currently making 841rwhp on our GT350 with the Whipple at 11.41psi. E85, stock fuel pumps, JMS dual pump fuelmax and ID1000's. No issues so far.

This is a 20% OD and 3.5 in 200 foot DA. 16/17 psi
[ame]

This is 17 psi and 109
[ame]

This is 15 psi and E85
[ame]

All of these have the same person tuning them. I say 15-16 psi is OK but I am comfortable with some risk.
