No...the plan is to purchase the 10-Rib 20% lower and water pump pulley but still run 6 rib belt and blower pulley. I'm currently running a 3.125" 6-Rib and want to turn it up a little more on a budget. There are some 10% and 15% OD options out there but the 20% 10-Rib gives me options to do the...
Bringing this thread back from the dead....
What size tire did you end up running? I'm in the same boat. Not sure if the 26" will look to small with a 29" rear that I'm running. I fear the 28" may look like balloon tires and may hit the fender due to the offset I'm running.
Sure wish there was a 3" option. I have 1 7/8" long tubes with 3" collectors now and this necks down to 2 1/4" to 2 12" exits to my 3" axle back setup. At my power levels, approx. 850-875rwhp, I'm sure there is some lost HP on the table. However, I will not put my 3" X-Pipe back in as its WAY TO...
How much boost you seeing with the 3.25 pulley? Any belt slippage? Running a 3.50 now and considering stepping down now that I have a fuel system on it.
Thanks.
Bringing this post back from the dead. I had planned on restalling my stock converter but when it was cut open it was busted up...which is the reason the trans is out of the car.
I'm now going the Circle D route but I'm getting some conflicting information. I talked to Circle D and they told...
I just pushed the pins through both the bumper and the new valance pieces. Might have been easier if I removed them but I was concerned that it would put extra stress on the 3M tape holding the side wings to the bumper and it may eventually pull away...then you have a flapping cover in the wind...
I was in the same boat as you with my 19" PP wheels. I have tried the NT05R and they plain suck in the rain. I tried several non-DR tires in 19" size and every single one of them sucked at 800rwhp. I wanted a good compromise of wet and dry performance and I've always had success with my high HP...
