Or we could trade straight up since I have an auto 10spd GT. I was considering a Tremec Mustang and they are in the GT350s, newer Mach 1s, and the Dark Horse. What color is your Mach 1?

This is just for my curiousity, is going from a manual to auto swap in a 2021 Mach 1 doable? I’m getting older an have hip/back/leg issues and makes it harder and harder to drive the manual. So I was wondering if this is something to consider and how much would it cost.

I’m sure in the end it might be better and cheaper to trade in the manual for the auto but I have my car set up the way I like it Suspension wise.

Even more reason that I was headed down the wrong way.
It is amazing the difference these car get when you sell in the spring/summer vs the winter!

Ford Performance sells the control pack for manual or auto that I believe includes everything you would need aside from the transmission.

These are meant for swaps into older vehicles. They require a return fuel system and if plugged into an S550 will result in a no start condition as they don't have the provision for passive anti theft system that is built into the car.

I see that as a very expensive project. I’d one were going to swap to an auto, it may be cheaper to do a TH400 instead of a 10R80.

I know this is an old thread but…. I just bought a fuel system and etc to bump up my power and a trans is already on my mind.

This is essentially the same cost as swapping to a tremec XL, as far as I can tell. Decisions, decisions.
