I have a Mach 1 and want to get the HP spoiler. Everywhere I look it is painted black. Anyone know where I can get the gray magnetic finish that comes from the factory?

You will need to have it painted. No options out there.

Hi, you need to re-paint or wrap it to achieve mat grey color. I have my wrapped in 3m foil.

Imo Ford dealer needs to be able to provide it as OEM part, anything actually, as anything can get broken for example in traffic accident and car needs to be put into 100% original condition. But it's probably cheaper to get the black gloss version and have it repainted.

Or get the carbon version from Anderson Composites (for 1200$ + Guerney flap, but it's not needed for street and looks meh for me anyway)

I ordered the OEM HP spoiler that is already with the paint correct code from Herrod performance in Australia a few weeks ago. Installed it last week and didn’t have any issues.

I spoke with Herrod a couple months back and he said they get them in pre-painted like that; however, they're not available for the public to purchase from Ford like that. At least not yet.

MAP Tuning in the UK also has them, but they have local shops repaint the black OEM spoiler.

The paint is Ford's own Magnetic paint over a dark gray base and a satin clearcoat is used instead of gloss.
