I think he is referring to the front wheel lip moldings. (Not the owners kit.) Got same advice from @costal-mach) Mine were missing as well. Contacted FP, they gave me the date they arrived at the dealership. Contacted parts department and retrieved them and installed them myself. (This seems to be a regular occurrence.)

The techs at the stealerships swipe all the things that are supposed to come from the factory. My car cover, included on the window sticker was gone. Because my car was delivered to one dealership but I bought it from another they both pointed fingers at each other as to where it disappeared and I got screwed on ever receiving it. My sales man who supposedly ordered a replacement left and is now probably selling vacuums or timeshares and everyone else in the sales process got amnesia. I just bought one from a guy here who sold his M1 but it pisses me off to this day. The guys in the dealerships will steal anything not bolted to the high end cars before they hit the lot. Ide bet dollars to donuts my mach 1 cover is in the trunk of a base model eco boost in a run down apartment complex or trailer park somewhere.
I wishI could disagree with you, but I think you’re mostly correct. I bought 2 cars previously from the dealership I bought my Mach from….this was the worst service, ironically with the most expensive car.

Can’t bag on the parts department guys, they were actually good to me, but the PDI was less than desirable.

Dealership service departments have always been suspect, but seems since Covid started it has been a steady down hill slide from bad to worse.

You may not have the time, but if it was me I’d be a thorn in both dealerships sides until someone coughed up your missing cover. (Sometimes Ford regional can be helpful in these situations too.)

I received my M1 Owners Kit today. Pretty awesome and much heavier than I anticipated. Although, I am missing the badge that is supposed to be in there with my chassis number. Have everything else.

I received my M1 Owners Kit today. Pretty awesome and much heavier than I anticipated. Although, I am missing the badge that is supposed to be in there with my chassis number. Have everything else.
If you haven't done so already, try re-checking all the papers, in the envelop, etc. Mine, the decal cover was just a bit off, causing the chassis badge to stick to the inside of the envelope. It's so small, it can be easy to miss.

Could any of you guys tell me what carrier brought your kit, ie, UPS/FEDEX or U.S. Postal service, etc. We don’t get US mail at our physical address and UPS doesn’t deliver to a P.O. Box but the dealer says it can only report one or the other to Ford.

Well wouldn't you know when I get some lights on - there it was.

FedEx brought mine today without warning. No notice, tracking, notta.

I’m dismayed to read these posts about dealerships not doing PDI, missing wheel flares and overall dissatisfaction with not filing proper paperwork so new owners get their owner kits. Our purchasing dealer went out of their way to make us feel comfortable as though we bought the track beast we wanted. They put it on a lift for inspection with sales rep and service manager, asked if we wanted the wheel flares installed (they were in the trunk along with gurney flap, floor mats, yellow spring rubbers and all loose paperwork from assembly), they call me on delivery day anniversary to see how the car is doing and even call me on my birthday with a BD greeting. Victor Ford Mototsports is the dealer and I’m not self conscious to put it here. Owner Jeff tracks his cars and wanted this blue Mach1 HP to go to a track enthusiast & somehow we were able to oblige. We got our kit in 5 weeks After purchase.

I bought my car on the 24th of October and got my M1 Kit today on the 15th of November. Didn't call or bug anyone about it.

Mine arrived today too. Car was picked up on 10/29, so kit arrived fast. Came FedEx, got shipping notifications from FedEx, but only cause I’m a member and get direct notifications of anything shipped to or from my address/contact email. (No notifications via Ford.)

Kit is nice. Need to find some place to display it. One of the few things my dealer did correctly apparently.

Took delivery 11/8, kit arrived 11/22 with no notice of any kind. Total surprise.
