Not sure I understand your point.
There is no point, just a funny remark. It's about choice and we can be glad to have it (PP2, Bullitt, GT350 didn't offer this choice at all). When you see zero reason for automatic, others can see plenty of reasons, and vice versa, everyone should use what he likes most, end of story.

I would say no to a M1 production run longer than two MYs.

It is very possible for a later rendition of BOSS 302 or the like. I loved the S197 Boss 302, talk about nailing the styling! Anything with the Boss nameplate interests me.

Another consideration is after equipping M1 with Tremec, I believe any future special production run (IE Boss) would include the Tremec also. I think that is kinda baked in now if they choose to do a "limited run" model. I just don't see how they could offer a car like that without it...

Thoughts?

nothing so complicated. The Boss name plate will be applied to the other Mustang, the Mach-E. :) And only come with the GT500's DCT because it obviously "superior".

Surely the MT-82 won't continue as the stock GT MT? I figured the Tremec from the M1 would now come over to the GT for S650

very much doubt it except as 'track' pack. It'll be the year 2100 and we'll still be using the MT82 in our flying cars and low-earth orbit rockets.

I can order 22 M1 now if anyone wants one.
You have to explain better how you are using a Canadian corporation to buy the car and then sell it to the end client in the US (from what I gather from your post, you are basically using a shell corporation). It is also my understanding that Canadian dealers are subject to restrictive allocations for M1 orders.

What are you worried about? Just send a stranger a cashiers check and wait patiently for your car that you tried to purchase likely by skirting around import laws. Seems perfectly safe and has no chance of costing you a lot of money and grief

I would say 1% chance of 2023 M1. With Fords announcement of 2022 MachE orders being halted due to overwhelming amount of deposits. (approx 200,000+). This will put huge pressure on President Farley's statement that the V8 is not dead. Yes, 2024 Mustang will most likely have a V8 and possibly hybrid type but the masses have spoken.

My crystal ball also says no Boss, rather see SVO brand Turbo/hybird at a higher probability. If Boss comes back it will be on the MachE platform only to promote High performance version.

The above is purely speculation about as accurate as knowing if the Stock Market will go up/down tomorrow. I do know to bet against the Mustang II King Cobra coming back anytime soon!

An svo model would be pretty neat. Although for much of the demographic ford is targeting they might not be old enough to know where the name comes from :giggle:
I assumed this car was my last new mustang but it’s made me so happy I want another one before the lights turn out at Dearborn. Please ford make just one more car for me. A v8/tremec boss. In grabber blue. Then I promise to fade off quietly as you go to all electric!

The masses? They have sold only 6743 MEs through March. The don't have 200,000 pending orders either. At least not per the articles I have read. Read past the headlines even....

Mach-E
" The automaker expects to reach 200,000 units per year in 2023"

"In 2021, Ford sold 27,140 Mustang Mach-E SUVs. It sold another 6,734 in 2022 through March in the U.S, according to Erich Merkle, Ford U.S. sales analyst."

Q1 Stang Numbers
"Despite the 19 percent decrease, The Blue Oval’s pony car was able to score first place in its segment with 13,986 units during the first quarter of 2022."
