I don't know if Id be comfortable winding it out to 8k.
I love high rpm

we shift our built engine at 8k, and will be taking it to 8500 with the new efi system

I wouldn't go 8k, but 7,500rpm should be easily doable as the previous Coyotes have been doing that for over 4 years. The 2015 Coyote now includes the Boss 302's valve springs and connecting rods so it's even more capable of high rpm's.

I agree it would be difficult to swallow spending that kind of money for na power levels but considering I plan to turbo if and when I go fi I don't think the money would be wasted. Plus power adders cost more than the kits would make you believe. Add in cost of a built block as well. This is a dd and will see many miles. These mods will also be closer to the warranty expiration. As I would prefer hassle free warranty work

What are the gains typically like with the cobra vs boss?

very affordable when your talking $1500 for an intake, that's 26% of the cost of the kit, the 15 kit should be very similar once fully released

How reliable is this kit for DD?
we do 1-3 of these kits a week, and have for years

we are vortech / Paxton's largest auto distributor in the world.

we specialize in 05 up mustangs, but our priority the last couple years has been the coyote.

My "Beefcake" special is the best selling supercharger package out there.

The Paxton kit is the least expensive kit by thousands with an 8 second capable head unit.

The innercooler on the base kit is a 900hp innercooler, the best on the market in a base package.

The head unit has been as quick as 8.9's with an aluminator, fuel system and some weight reduction in a factory 6r80 car

Any insight into when the '15 kits are going to be fully released?

And what do you guys charge to install? Flat rate or hourly? Is it something a guy with regular tools and common sense could install?

should be soon, just finalizing some things on the production kits

yes, that kit has a 900 hp core innercooler

we get 999 for a basic install on the 11-14's,

I probably sell 1-2 self installs a week, have for years, very detailed instruction guide
