In your opinion what is the best option when considering price, fitment, and performance?
Also, what are things that you feel other enthusiasts should know/consider before buying and installing LTH?

Main difference will be loudness and tone. If you have neighbors, they will know your name.
Don't think of LTH as a way to get more power/ speed otherwise it's not worth it.
Doing it yourself is rewarding but NOT for the faint of heart.

Keep the active exhaust and resonator in place. Don’t buy the cheapest set of headers you can find. If you do, be prepared to install, mark them, remove them, properly clearance them and reinstall. Lastly, be patient and don’t get in a hurry.

Wouldn’t recommend them if you’re not racing. Take a good amount of time or money to get them installed.

Good companies are not cheap. American Racing (I owned), Kooks, and Texas Speed (I own) are just to name a few.

The thing is, pick a size based off the power range you expect to end up at. 1-7/8 will cover most anything your looking to do on a STOCK bottom end.

Equal lengths headers I like the best with a 3 inch collector. Stepped Headers or nice too. However, I have not seen increase power on a scientifically controlled dyno test in back to back test to prove one header better than another one on the S550.

Some of the cheaper options are most likely stolen knock off designs of more expensive headers. You would like a stainless steel T-304 for durability.

Beefcake got deals.

Search YouTube as well for opinions like this.

Buy once, cry once. Get a set of Kooks and be done with it. Lethal had them for like $1400 on a special a month or so ago. They'll probably run another special like that soon.

Oh another thing, if where you live does emissions, catted LTH will most likely throw a CEL. I use defoulers/ mini cats and I never have issues passing emissions.

Like others have said, if you plan on getting lth, keep your stock resonator and stock catback in place and the sound will be very reasonable for daily duties. I went with kooks, buy once, cry once.

I have 2M fab headers on mine paired with an AWE touring exhaust. Cold starts are wicked loud but it tones down once it warms up. I did the headers myself and only place I had a clearance issue was the steering shaft, otherwise bang on. From the reviews on them it’s hit or miss. I bought them only because I got a wicked deal from a local speed shop.

Buy a quality product knowing they probably still won't fit perfect, but be close enough to tweak yourself. Be comfortable making your own adjustments to make them clear properly.

I would say doing off a lift is way easier, that way you can get in and out with less difficulty.

I am going Stainless Works, and will report back in the future how they work. If they are crap, I will go to a kooks, but IMO, every kooks car I hear sounded way to painful at the top end of the range. I am doing this on a track car for full context.

Given the mods in your sig, and your location, I would 100% recommend an E85 tune over LTH's. You will get far more bang for your buck that way. Also, you won't piss off your neighbors every time you start it.

This guy can tune the S550.

Bite the bullet and buy the Ford Performance coyote exhaust manifold kit to get fresh head studs, lock nuts, and gaskets (removing the original studs makes installation much easier) and bone up on your cuss words for the fastener access and fitment challenges no matter what brand you choose. BMR has an adjustable Motor Mount bracket kit if you want to tweak engine positioning for optimum clearance. I lifted one side of my son's engine approximately 1/4" to insure no rattling against the frame rail on his Speed Engineering headers.

I'd suggest being armed with replacement bolts as well. I don't know how you'd get new headers on with all studs. Especially if you're doing it on the ground.

In my 2013 GT, I installed all JL Audio components and amps with an AudioControl DQ-61 processor. I ran a 300W amp on the factory sub, but was careful of how I had the gain set on the amp. I never blew the sub or any speaker for that matter and one day, the factory sub got broken in and sounded very deep. It happened while I was driving and the volume was at the same level it had been for the the duration of my drive. I thought to myself, 🤔 that’s what a broken in subwoofer sounds like huh?
