Hooker LTH Install Cost

My hooker long tube headers have arrived and I called a local shop for a quote. They stated 11 hours for the install which seems excessive. What kind of hours are typical for this type of install?

11 hours is the “we don’t really want to do that price”.

I am comfortable doing some mods but LTH seems a little outside my comfort zone. If I had a lift maybe but on jack stands that seems rough. I will check around but seems like everyone agrees that 11 hours is way too much for this.

I did mine on jack stands by myself. Took me about 4 days but I was on vacation at the time, so I took my time. The only specialty tool you need is an inverted torx socket to remove the factory studs if needed. The rest of the job can be done with a good selection of metric sockets and wrenches.
