Hi. I have a 2019 GT PP1 and want to install a set of High Quality , Direct Fit, no modifications required 1 7/8 LTH CATED like Kooks, But I would rather not spend $3000 if their were equivalent ones people are having great luck with. Thank you for your help.

LTH brand headers were a perfect fit on my 19GT. Installer said there were 0 fitment issues. They cost quite a bit less than Kooks and come with a wonderful finish that has held up great so far.

I will look those up. Did you have to get a tune after they were installed?

I was already tuned and did not need a retune after install. Sorry that isn’t much help.

I have the xforce headers and they are an amazing fit. Tons of clearance between the block and framerails. I had a tune when I had the GT350 top end but currently switched back to stock and have no problems with the headers being on other than the cat codes from the high flows

No matter the brand you go with, and just to be clear, you do not need a tune to run headers.
This is correct and most tuners will tell you this before you buy your tune. When I pulled my performance parts and asked for a revision for just headers. My tuner replied to just use the stock one the car is smart enough to adjust for the headers.

Question. What is needed to run LTH and still Run Stock Cats? Do these LTH kits come with adapter pipes? Would I have to buy them with new Cats.
Ready to order lTH but want to make sure I can connect to OEM Active Exhaust. Thanks

Stock cats are much larger in diameter than high flow cats that can be purchased with LTHs. The stock cats simply would not clear the floor pan. You can still connect to active exhaust with LTHs. I run factory AE on mine and the LTHs did come with catted mid pipes.

You will have to cut the factory AE exhaust to make it fit. It would be a good time to add an xor h-pipe too.

Many header kits will come complete with headers, bolts, cats and mid pipes that will connect to the oem resonator and cat back with a clamp. Stainless works offers this style and under their value brand stainless power also. Other brands offer this as well. Xforce does not work with the oem system as all their connections used welded bolt together flanges.

Hopping in this thread.

Thinking of getting LT headers for my 19’ GT PP1 as well. Apart from sound, will I get any performance gains after installing LT headers? If not, then I don’t see why I should be getting the pricier ones. LTH sounds convincing; I might go for that.

Also, I’m planning on either installing the headers with a HH-pipe and keeping the factory AE, or headers with AWE cat-back touring exhaust system. Any thoughts? I’d love to hear how both the setups sounds.
