Hi members, can you please suggest any solution to regaining the sharp turn in & agility I had before fitting whipple & Ford trackpack suspension to my PP1 2022 mustang Gt?I can really feel the extra weight & loss of agility at the front end.Love the extra performance but not the loss of sharp handling.Thank you for any advice.

What’s your alignment at? Too much front toe in and not enough front camber really hurt the front end reaponse.

You may elect to switch to stiffer front swaybar and/or stiffer handling oriented springs to magage the increased front and top-heavy weight.

Its hard to make a pig fly, but if you’re determined enough you can at least get it airborn.

11 inch wide front wheels with -4 camber will help when paired with steamroller tires.

wide sticky boot up front. track pack suspension IMO isn't that good.

How much does the Whipple weigh? I can't imagine it making a big difference. I'm suspecting an alignment change.. maybe post your alignment specs.

It's pretty significant. If he has a stage II heat exchanger he's looking at about 150lbs on the nose of the car.

Anything can fly if you just give it enough thrust!

A good friend of mine was a "RIO" in one of those LOUD BASTARDS..........he later went on to be Base Commander of MCAS BEAUFORT, SC and said he NEVER wanted to be a pilot of one since the BACK SEAT was SCARY enough for him!! 😂 🤣

More aggressive alignment. Subtract the weight you added lighter hood, light weight k member. You won't balance it back to stock but close.

When I read about swapping out the hood and the engine compartment brace they are gonna make only a few pounds wider weight difference. Not anywhere close to 150 pounds. I think the hood only makes 7 pounds lighter than OEM and I can’t imagine changing out the brace is gonna be more than a couple pounds, so total 10 pounds versus 150 pounds.

Plus the cost of changing out the hood for a carbon fiber one in my opinion is extreme compared to what you get in return!
i’m not sure what the cost is of switching to a lighter brace. But I am guessing that it’s value may be low also.

I am open to facts and wisdom that are different than my reading and opinions.

Why not put a stiffer spring out front to help with the extra weight. They also make a strut brace/k brace that will work with the whipple. Either way you added weight to the front of the car and up high so it’s gonna change things

The biggest gains for the front end can be found with a K member and battery.

If you go with battery I would recommend an Antigravity ATX-20 HD. It’ll drop considerable weight. I dropped 20 lbs but over heard some got up to 30.

I make a 3D Printed Carbon Fiber Infused Battery Tray for the ATX-20 HD. I got 1 left.

DM me with any questions.
