So I just got done finishing installing the rear suspension. The front has been settling for 2 weeks while I was on vacation. I'm taking it in for an alignment today and seem to be having an issue others have had. I have searched but couldn't find a definitive answer.

I seem to be getting a clunking noise from the front I believe. Anytime going over slight bumps below 36mph. Ive tried running over splits in the road, small potholes, etc. It seems to happen regardless of which side I'm targeting. I have double checked everything up front and the rear and I can't seem to figure out whats causing it.

Track pack shocks and springs, steeda camber plates, front and rear sway bars, steeda irs braces, steeda rear bushings lockouts, steeda alignment dowels were all installed. I have not installed the new toe links and knuckle spherical bearings yet.

I've got an appointment at 4pm to get the alignment done. So ill see if the shop notices anything going on.

I'm not sure what else to look for honestly.

Update :: shop said there was nothing hanging around loose. For an eyeball job though I was only .2 out on camber on one side. Going to get the front up tomorrow , pull the wheels off and triple check the torque on the swaybar end links. Going to grab a different torque wrench, possible that the one I have is out of spec?

Feel free to give our team a call at 1800 950 0774 & they can route it through Jamie & our tech team to understand where the noise may be originating from.

Sounds good TJ. After I check the sway bar links , if the bolts weren't the issue I'll shoot you guys a call. By the way I did have 2 questions for ya TJ.

If for some reason there is a problem with any part of the kit i bought from you guys, not your kit btw, how would I handle an issue with a strut if the valve was shot or there was an issue with a spring etc?

Second question being, I was curious if you guys ever update any info on the install pdfs from the website. I was a little pissed at the instructions provided on the website for the irs braces. Nothing matches up as far as instructions, tools needed and pictures provided. The instructions say every bolt is a 10mm, which they aren't and even included pictures of hex bolts which weren't included with the kit. Honestly the only thing made clear was the oversized Washers. Just a suggestion from me, but you may want to have someone revise the install instructions, pictures and possibly include a diagram of which bolts go where and their sizes.

Thanks for reaching out though. I will update this tomorrow after I go wheels up.

Shoot me an email to [email protected] & if you are currently having issues with your parts, we'll do a warranty evaluation. If you aren't having issues, it would be the same don't the road.

Let me have our team look into the install instructions - I'll look to see if the S650 was uploaded in place of the S550.

Standby.

I had defective 2019 date stamped new Koni Active 2 struts and one shock.....making noise. Put OE on and solved it... that's how I pinned it down to dampers. Seller was no hassle refund and /or exchange offer no shipping defects back...

Roger that TJ. I just rechecked some bolts today on the front bar and shock and all are good. I won't have time for a couple days to disconnect the sway bar links and see if that is what's causing the issue. If the noise is still there I'm going to replace the front shocks and springs this weekend to determine if those struts are the issue. Ill send you an email most likely this weekend.
